Penny began her writing and editing career as editor of her college yearbook, the University of Washington Tyee. The big time came when she started her San Francisco publishing company, Arts & Leisure Publications, producing magazines for the San Francisco Ballet, the American Conservatory Theatre and small venue theatres. She partnered with Sue Wolk in 1985 to form their company, Platinum Publications. Penny graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters in Journalism and lives in West Los Angeles with her husband, David.

Sue has over 25 years experience in publishing, dealing with ad agencies and clients alike. She was Associate Publisher of San Francisco Magazine and published magazines for companies such as MGM Grand Airlines, Procter & Gamble Productions, American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey, Joffrey Ballet and Hotel Bel Air. She graduated with a BFA from Boston University and an MFA from Brooklyn Museum School of Fine Arts. She resides in Brentwood, California with her husband, Michael and daughter, Ally.
